# iPhone error

Hi,

I have a self generated certificate being used by the mediasoup worker and it works fine on safari desktop,firefox desktop.

On iPhone Safaari/Firefox/Chrome , when I try to connect to the web socket I get could not connect to [https://192.168.1.102:3000](https://192.168.1.102:3000) /server web socket error, could this be related to a certificate error which does not allow self signed certs?

mediasoup does not include WebSocket at all so this is not a topic about mediasoup libraries.

Yes its a certificate issue most probably. This is definitely not a mediasoup related issue.
