TLDR: I’m requesting feedback on a pre-release of a mediasoup based project.
Scaling across cloud regions, signaling orchestration, infrastructure provisioning, and CI/CD deployments are out of scope for mediasoup. This is a nice clean line that mediasoup maintains.
Building upon mediasoup, SignalSalad aims to own that additional scope, and provide a sane baseline for production use. The general idea is if you need more scale, add more media servers, or regions, or both.

Please check out the demo by clicking the region closest to you. Once started, the demo will last 10 minutes or so and then shut back down. It can expand to any number of regions, but two is all that is used for the demo.
