For example a conference of participants will broadcast video in low resolution (240p).

  1. What values ​​are required for encoding when setting the manufacturer?
  2. Do I need permission to collect the customer’s device camera?

We want to apply this approach to reduce the load on the client device so that only one outgoing stream is encoded.
Please tell me if this solution really allows you to reduce the load on the device when encoding and allows you not to use simulcast?
Is it true that if there is no encodings array in the ProducerOptions passed to transport.produce(), then this means that only one stream will be transmitted without simulcast?
