:globe_showing_europe_africa: FOR MEDIASOUP COMMUNITY EDITION USERS

We’ve launched some new features on the MediaSFU platform that might interest the mediasoup community:

Real-time Multilingual Conversations
• Speak in any language, be heard in any language
• 3-5 simultaneous language channels in the same room
• Listeners can override and choose their preferred language independently
• Speakers can override the default broadcast language
• Real-time translation with low latency
• Useful for international conferences, global teams, and multilingual support

Panelist Mode with Fine-tuned Permissions
• Role-based controls for structured events
• Granular permissions for hosts, panelists, and participants
• Ideal for webinars, town halls, and moderated discussions

The platform runs on mediasoup and demonstrates some interesting use cases for what you can build with the mediasoup architecture.

:laptop: FOR REACT & FLUTTER DEVELOPERS

If you’re using the MediaSFU React or Flutter SDKs, these features are production-ready right now. The same prebuilt components that power MediaSFU Events are available in our SDKs, so you can integrate multilingual conversations and the enhanced UI into your applications immediately.

Other SDKs (Angular, Vue, React Native, Android, iOS): Full feature parity coming early Q1 2026.

:speech_balloon: FEEDBACK WELCOME
