I’ve installed the demo under an Ubuntu 20.10 VM, and for some reason the websocket connection seems to fail in firefox 84.0.2 (64-bit) and getUserMedia doesn’t display a feed. Yet all seems fine in chrome.
Same issue is reported here by the article that explains how to set it up (the readme wasn’t detailed enough for me, please don’t call me stupid! Lol): Mediasoup-demo installation and deployment notes - Programmer Sought
Apologies if this has been reported previously, can anyone (please) explain how I can rectify this issue?

So I did a bit of googling and it seems to be caused by using a self signed certificate, if anybody could give me any alternatives to using a self-signed cert, I’d be most grateful. I’m just trying to get the demo set up locally, so I can play around with it.
